AEIS/CEQ Preparation Courses
The Admission Exercise for International Students (AEIS) is organised by the Singapore Ministry of Education and is the only way for international students to enter government primary and secondary schools. Primary school applicants must pass the CEQ English test and achieve a qualifying score before taking the AEIS Mathematics exam. For secondary school applicants, the AEIS exam covers two subjects: English and Mathematics. The Ministry of Education conducts the AEIS exams twice a year, at the end of September and with a supplementary exam (S-AEIS) at the end of February. If applicants score above the admission threshold, they will receive an offer for the appropriate grade in a government school when results are released. AEIS/CEQ preparation courses help international students prepare efficiently and effectively for the AEIS exams, thereby improving their chances of success.Which grade should I apply for?

The AEIS exam poses challenges, with each intake selecting the most outstanding students based on a percentage ranking. Therefore, the exam’s core objective is to assess candidates’ foundational knowledge, personal abilities, and their efficiency in learning within a limited timeframe. Recognising these traits, Miles’ AEIS preparation courses combine exam-focused teaching with systematic knowledge structuring and skill enhancement training. This approach aims to enhance students’ learning capabilities and efficiency, ensuring they can maximise their potential during the exam and successfully pass it.
