Adult English Courses

The Cambridge International English Course is divided into three levels, progressing from easier to more challenging: Beginner (yellow textbook), Elementary (red textbook), and Intermediate (blue textbook). The curriculum primarily focuses on everyday language, with each unit structured around common conversational topics. It covers essential grammar, vocabulary, and sentence structures, enabling learners to easily grasp methods and contexts for effective usage throughout their learning process.

Beginner Level: Consists of 16 units

Focusing on the simplest and most basic everyday language, each lesson is accompanied by fundamental grammar suitable for beginners to gradually build their understanding of English. Typically, each session includes two dialogues covering one to two grammar points, along with in-class exercises.

Elementary Level: Consists of 16 units

Emphasising moderately challenging everyday language, after mastering foundational knowledge at the beginner level, learners gain a general understanding of English language habits. By reviewing previously learned sentences and grammar points, they become better prepared to absorb the content at the elementary level.

Intermediate Level: Consists of 16 units

This level expands on the usage of English sentence structures and vocabulary introduced in the previous two textbooks. It covers more complex sentence structures and vocabulary to strengthen learners’ knowledge and enhance their practical application.

Advanced Level: Consists of 16 units

Designed for adult learners who already possess a proficiency level equivalent to English proficiency tests like IELTS Band 4 to 6. Building upon the intermediate level, the advanced course focuses on training learners to flexibly apply learned sentence structures and generate sentences independently in complex life and work scenarios. This prepares them comprehensively for listening, speaking, reading, and writing in various daily situations.
