San Yu Adventist School and St. Francis Methodist School are the only private schools in Singapore that provide government primary and secondary school curriculum and management models. O-Level is the graduation examination for secondary school students in Singapore, which is equivalent to the high school entrance examination in China. Students in Singapore government schools will take the Cambridge O-Level exams after completing junior high school (a total of 10 or 11 years of education). The exams are all conducted in English. Foreign students/private candidates can also register with the Education Bureau of Singapore and sit for exams after taking preparatory courses. Foreign students/private candidates can also register with the EDB and sit for the exam after taking a preparatory course. International students can apply directly to 6 government universities in Singapore, such as NUS National University, NTU Nanyang Technological University, SMU Singapore Management University, etc. with the results obtained. In addition, students can also apply for prestigious universities in Commonwealth countries, such as Oxford, Cambridge, Melbourne, Sydney, etc. The A-Level exam is quite difficult, but it is also a direct pathway to the world’s most prestigious universities.
